Nationwide Energy Partners launches energy star certification assistance program for its customers.
Today, Nationwide Energy Partners launched its Energy Star Certification assistance program at the Ohio’s Future Energy Symposium.
As a leading energy and utility provider to multifamily buildings, Nationwide Energy Partners innovates with products and processes to help customers recognize and implement efficiency measures. The company’s new service is in line with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) recent announcement that multifamily properties will now be able to receive a 1-100 Energy Star score.
Tom Roberts, a Certified Energy Manager and Nationwide Energy Partners’ senior director of operations, will lead the new initiative. Speaking to symposium attendees, Roberts said, “Leveraging our expertise in advanced energy management and energy-efficient solutions as well as data collection, we will be able to help property owners and managers to navigate the process to gain Energy Star Certification.”
With one of the most sophisticated data collection and analysis systems in the industry, Nationwide Energy Partners can look at everything from individual unit consumption, to common area usage, to leak detection, to floor-by-floor or building-by-building energy efficiency. With this information, Nationwide Energy Partners can help property owners and managers meet the requirements of recording energy consumption data required by the EPA to earn an Energy Star score.
“We’re focused on services we can provide today as well as the energy solutions our customers can count on for tomorrow,” said Kit Hagen, vice president of marketing and strategy. “In that way, we are not only an energy provider, we’re an energy advisor to property owners, managers and residents of multifamily buildings. We see this new program as another way we can help our customers impact energy consumption and enable multifamily properties to participate in energy-efficient practices.”
Recently, Nationwide Energy Partners announced plans to expand its employee base, geographic footprint and business offerings. In addition to creating energy jobs in the region, Nationwide Energy Partners’ growth drives innovation on the service and data side of the energy industry.
