Nationwide Energy Partners Addresses University Of Dayton’s Chapter Of The American Society Of Heating, Refrigeration And Air-conditioning Engineers
As part of Nationwide Energy Partners’ continuous community engagement efforts, Senior Director of Operations Tom Roberts accepted an invitation to address the University of Dayton’s chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
With chapters throughout the world, ASHRAE is an international organization of 50,000 members organized for the purpose of advancing the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration for the public’s benefit through research, writing standards, continuing education and publications.
Roberts spoke to the group of 25 students for approximately 75 minutes, taking questions and engaging in one-on-one conversations afterward. Roberts took the opportunity to educate them about NEP’s leadership in transforming the way multifamily residential communities consume energy.
“We discussed the opportunities to deliver energy services to multifamily residential communities in a smarter and more efficient way,” Roberts said. “I think the students understand that it takes new thinking and new ideas to seize these opportunities.”
NEP works with multifamily communities to reduce their water and electricity usage, reducing costs for both property managers and their residents.
