Some communities require a security deposit. However, there are two ways to have this deposit waived. Residents can submit a letter of credit or sign up for auto-pay. Additionally, the security deposit is 100% refunded after 12 months of on time payments..
LETTER OF CREDIT
To have your security deposit waived, send us a letter of credit from a previous utility provider showing that there were no more than two missed or late payments within a twelve month period. To obtain a Letter of Credit, simply contact your previous utility provider and request to have one faxed to us.

If you choose this method, please ask them to include your current address and NEP account number on the document to ensure it is attached to the appropriate account.
ENROLL IN AUTOPAY
If you sign up for the Autopay Service (ACH), your security deposit is waived while you are enrolled. Log into your Resident Account and create a new Autopay Schedule. Autopay information must be received at least 7 business days before the due date to avoid the full account balance being deducted. Autopay is designed to pay the full balance owed, and payments are automatically withdrawn each month on your scheduled due date. You may enroll with the payment method of your choice, including a checking or savings account, or a credit or debit card. Cancellation of Autopay will result in the security deposit being reapplied to your account.
